      Winter in the Carpathian Mountains

      Saturday, January 13, 2018 - 12:30-2:30 PM

      Freedom Public Library

5870 SW 95th St., Ocala, FL

Join us in sunny Florida as we talk about the cold and snowy winter weather in the Carpathian Mountains. We will experience through photos and discussion the way of life of our Rusyn ancestors during the very long winter months between the Feast of the Nativity and the Feast of the Resurrection. Although winter was like death to them, we will understand how they were able to survive.

Presented by Bonnie Burke, C-RS Southeastern Branch Coordinator

Guests are welcome. Feel free to invite others.

Light refreshments will be served. Desserts are welcome.
