I gave him the ship my great grandmother sailed on and he was able to provide tons of details on how she probably got from her village in Poland to the port of departure in Rotterdam. Amazing.

Hello, I am looking at my great grandmother's ship record from Rotterdam to NYC. She was from what is present day Poland but she is Rusyn. The manifest lists the company that she booked through - it was in Krakow. See image. Does anyone have any information on this company or other that immigrants used to book travel?

If file is too small to see writing, the best I can tell it says - Poln Emeyr Ges. Could also be Poln Emegr Ojes.
