Prof. Krafcik of The Evergreen State College, Olympia, WA, will talk about how magic practiced in Carpatho-Rusyn villages was reflected in the works of folklorists and writers, including the highly respected Russian folklorist/linguist Petr Bogatyrev and the Ukrainian author Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky.
