Last week, Professor Pat Krafick shared her newest book—Witnesses to Interwar Subcarpathian Rus’: The Sojourns of Petr Bogatyrev and Ivan Olbracht—with C-RS members in a special Zoom event. Her talk, “What They Discovered,” offered new information on Bogatyrev and Obracht’s studies of Subcarpathian Rus’, including culinary variations in the region and the importance of Jewish neighbors to Carpatho-Rusyn communities.
