The Beauty of the Carpathians

In this presentation we will briefly describe the criteria to be considered a Carpatho-Rusyn, then show examples of the beauty in their area. We will elaborate further on the topic by discussing and showing examples of the wooden churches, icon screens, icons, ironwork, pysanky, embroidery, and carved wooden objects. Just in time for Easter, this is meant to celebrate the creativity of the Rusyns, which made them such a special and unique people.
Tom Peters is a retired professional genealogist who specializes in Carpatho-Rusyn genealogy. He has done genealogy for over forty years.
Kathryn Peters is a retired high school art teacher who has done genealogical research for forty-seven years.
