Mary,

The double surname can be passed on to all children. Having said this, the original birth surname is often dropped in favor of the newly adopted surname.

Are father / mother's aliases transferred to the son/daughter?

For example, child is Andreas

father is Andreas Onditsko alias Maczko

1. Is the child's name Andreas Onditsko or Andreas Onditsko alias Maczko?

2. Is the answer the same for a girl child?

3. Does a mother's alias apply to the child?
